A session with me typically lasts from 1 to 2 hours on location. The sessions are flexible so that I may capture those intimate moments that only happen naturally. I will spend as much time as it takes to create lasting memories of your family. As much as I enjoy photography, I intend for your session to be enjoyable to you as well!

Natural settings offer beautiful lighting and an unrestricted area for everyone’s enjoyment. This may be a park, area attraction, or even the comfort of your own backyard.  If you would prefer your location to be in your home, a well-lit room is necessary. A setting such as this will allow your family the opportunity to explore and feel relaxed; and allow for some casual, yet memorable portraits.

Simple attire is recommended. Jeans and light colors are a good choice.  Girls in sundresses and bare feet for all are fun choices, too. It is not necessary that clothing match exactly. Similar style and tone are enough to make a family look coordinated. Please know that I am not opposed to bringing out your natural character with a funky garment you would prefer to wear.  But, I would advise you to avoid distracting logos or patterns.  You may bring several outfits to the session as clothing changes allow for more variety in your portraits.

If I am photographing your baby, bare skin and diaper covers are best. And if you’re comfortable, discreet, yet intimate memories are captured when you are willing to hold baby next to your skin as well. Feel free to supply baby’s favorite fluffy blankets and toys to snuggle with.

Approximately three weeks after your session, I will provide you with an online presentation of 20-30 artistically processed images. Feel free to share your gallery with family and friends.  Your gallery will remain published for three weeks. All orders are due within this time. A $10 fee will be charged to republish your gallery and  reorders will require a $100 minimum purchase.

Please allow 2-3 weeks for your finished portraits.
